Job Description

The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing and organizing inventory and store operations, ensuring that all materials and items are accurately received, stored, and issued.Key responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, processing incoming and outgoing items, coordinating with relevant departments, and maintaining a clean and well-organized store area.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, basic management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in Arabic and Hindi to support smooth daily operations.

  • Work days : Saturday to Thursday.

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against delivery notes and purchase orders
  • Organize, label, and store items in an orderly and accessible manner
  • Monitor stock levels regularly and report shortages or overstock to the line manager
  • Issue materials and tools to staff based on approved requests and record all transactions accurately
  • Maintain updated inventory records (manual or system-based) and prepare periodic stock reports
  • Coordinate with purchasing, finance, and operations to ensure timely availability of required items
  • Conduct regular stock checks and support in annual or periodic inventory counts
  • Ensure the store area is clean, safe, and compliant with company policies and safety standards
  • Supervise helpers or store assistants and organize their daily tasks

Qualifications

  • High school certificate (secondary education) or higher is required
  • Previous experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse management
  • Experience in managing or supervising staff/operations is preferred
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Fluency in Hindi (spoken) to deal with Hindi-speaking staff and workers
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Basic computer skills (inventory systems, Excel, or similar) are an advantage
